- Stereolithography – To make components, stereolithography uses photopolymerization. Using the appropriate light source, this method selectively interacts with the material to cure and solidify a cross section of the product in small layers.
There are three main types of the 3D printing technologies such as melting, stereolithography and the sintering. Stereolithography uses the photopolymerization to make the parts. This method utilizes the correct source of light to communicate with the substance in a selective method to make the cure and safety and then solidify a cross-section of the material in the thin layers. Melting is a type of 3D printing method which comprises of the powder bed fusion, direct deposition of the energy and the melting beam of the electron and they utilize electric arcs, lasers and the electron beams which print the materials by melting the substances from materials collectively with the high temperatures.
